Beta Club Member
The first meeting of the RSMS Beta Club will be on Thursday, September 9th, at 7:45 a.m. in the Media Center. All 7th and 8th grade Beta members should attend

Student Council
Any students that are interested in joining Student Council can pick up an application from the front office. The applications are due Friday, September 17th.

Creative Writing Club
Sarah McMillan will present information about a new Creative Writing Club, which will start meeting on Tuesday, September 7th, in Mrs. Lynch's room, from 3:45 - 4:30.

The RSMS Sign Language Club will have its inaugural meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 7:45 in the media center. If you are interested in learning how to sign, this is the club for you. The club is sponsored by Mrs. Barbara James, Mrs. Kelly Boseman, and Mrs. Christine Chatham. The club will meet each Tuesday morning with a different theme for each week. There will be an opportunity for other fun activities as well. Please see Mrs. James, Mrs. Boseman or Kevin Strickland if you would like more information

The Book Fair is coming!

The Book Fair will be held Tuesday September 7-Friday September 10, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day. There will be a special sneak peek event the night of the 7th and 8th Grade Open House September 2 from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

SPORTS PHYSICALS Parents...If your child is planning on participating in any sport this school year (2010-2011), please make sure your child has a CURRENT sports physical on file. We have to have one completed and on file BEFORE your child can even try out. If you think your child already has one, you can verify that information by emailing Mrs. Flanders at flanders.milinda@fcboe.org

Any 6th graders interested in intramurals, pick up a form in the front office or Mr. Fourqurean's room.

Applications for the School Store are available in room 805. For every five days you work you earn a school store item! A new shipment of scented erasers, locker buddies, pencil sharpeners, and lead refills are expected soon.

Hey all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls if you are interested in Volleyball stop by and see Coach Didier. He is offering a Developemental Volleyball program starting soon.
Girls that played on the 7th grade volleyball team last year. Please meet with Coach Higginbotham this Wednesday during Starr Time in the gym for a short meeting.
